Well, Russia run out of steam. In the 2nd half, Spain played their game to the full potential. Russia has no game at all. Spain played their one-touch game perfectly, the passes are short, quick, simple and effective. With the ball moving around by Spanish players, Russia can only chase around and they hardly have any chance to play their own game. Spain completely dominated midfield.
Cesc Fabregas made huge impact after replacing injured Villa. Ramos is constantly charging forward during the entire game. Puyal played a flawless game and fully marked out Arshavin.
Interestingly, in Q-final Spain's one-touch, short-pass game was neutralized by Italian defense. Today, Russia wasn't able to combat this type of game anymore. Why? Russian have good technical skills too, Hiddink is a master in tactics. So, I believe it's because of experience.
Considering the entire tournament so far, Spain deserve the Champion on Sunday. But it's final now. I am just hoping they play one more beautiful game for us. Germany and Spain have very different style, physically game vs short-pass game.
